Fairfax Station House Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a house fire at approximately 4:30 a.m., Sunday, October 28, 2007, in the Fairfax Station area of Fairfax County. The building is located at 5675 Nomes Court.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported fire throughout the structure and most of the structure was fully involved with fire. The home was under construction and about 50 percent complete. There were no injuries.

Damage is estimated at $300,000. The house was destroyed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
