Three Juveniles Charged With Setting a Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged three juveniles with setting a fire, Monday, April 6, 2009.

All three 14 year-old male juveniles are from the Reston and Herndon areas. They are charged with setting an outside fire to woods, brush, leaves, grass, and straw (Class 1 Misdemeanor, Virginia Code 18.2-87).

The charges are in connection with setting an outside fire, Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Hidden Creek Country Club, 1711 Clubhouse Road, Reston.

The fire caused minimum damage to the landscaping. There were no injuries. 

The juveniles have been released to their parents.
