Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and Arlington County Fire Department units responded to a house fire, Saturday, July 14, 2012, at approximately 2:20 a.m. in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County. The single-family home is located at 2142 Haycock Road.
Firefighters reported light smoke coming from the top floor of the two-story home upon arrival. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The home was vacant. There were no injuries.
Damage is estimated at $25,000.
According to fire investigators, the fire was intentionally set and is under investigation.
