Fairfax County fire investigators charged a male juvenile with setting a fire capable of spreading and carelessly damaging property by fire in connection with a playground fire, June 14, 2012, in the Burke area of Fairfax County. The fire was located at the Lake Braddock Community Association Playground, 5122 Dahlgreen Place.
The fire primarily damaged a slide on the playground. There were no injuries.
Damage to the playground equipment was estimated at $2,000.
