Firefighters Return from New Hampshire


Technicians Stephen McCay, and Alexander Obert, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, have returned from their recent hiking trip in New Hampshire and will be available for media interviews at 10 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2008, at Fire and Rescue Station 11, Penn Daw, 6624 Hulvey Terrace, Alexandria, Virginia.

Both were hiking the Presidential Trail in Crawford Notch, New Hampshire, and were rescued by helicopter Tuesday morning, February 19, 2008. Both firefighters are fine and have returned to duty. They are both skilled, avid hikers, and have hiked the area previously.
