CANCELLATION FEES & GUIDELINES
The following matrix is to serve as a guideline in determining when a
reinspection fee is required for witnessed acceptance testing and
retesting. For an acceptance inspection/test, this fee shall be
charged every time a request is made before the work is clearly ready
to be inspected and/or tested, or is not cancelled in time to save an
unnecessary trip by inspectors. In the case of witnessed retesting of
existing fire protection systems, this fee will be charged whenever an
inspection/test is not cancelled more than 10 business days prior to
the scheduled appointment. The reinspection fee shall based on the
hours reserved to perform the test and will be charged at the rate of
$128 per hour calculated on the quarter hour or part thereof, per
required inspector. The reinspection fee will be invoiced to the
responsible company/party.
