Plans Review is responsible for ensuring code compliance for site plans, building plans, clean agents, door locks, fee assesments, fire protection systems, hood system installations, and plans associated with Fire Prevention Code Permits. Review of architectural plans-related items is done by Fire Prevention Division staff located on the 3rd floor of the Herrity Building, 12055 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia. In addition, staff provides plans review of architectural and fire protection system plans for the Town of Herndon, and site plans for the Town of Vienna at the Massey Building location.
