Franconia Rec Center, approximately 83,600 square feet, is comprised of three major areas; Natatorium, Gymnasium and Fitness Center. The Natatorium includes a heated, indoor 50-meter by 25-yard pool, a Superslide, three diving boards, spa, spectator seating, locker rooms, family changing room, saunas, and showers and an outdoor sun deck and grassed sunbathing area. The 20,400 square foot gymnasium includes one regulation size basketball court, or is convertible to two half courts, or two volleyball courts. Also included are electronic scoreboards, spectator seating, boxing equipment, volleyball nets and a three-lane, 1/10 mile running track.
The Fitness Center is well equipped with Cybex VR2 machines connected to the FitLinxx network, a wide selection of cardiovascular equipment, free-weights, and a stretching area
