  This free six-week workshop will help you:
  • Feel better
  • Increase energy
  • Get relief from pain and fatigue
  • Do the things you want to do each day

  Who should join?
  • Adults with ongoing health conditions
  • Friends, relatives, or caregivers of a person with chronic illness
  • Chronic illness can include arthritis, heart problems, asthma
         and other respiratory conditions, diabetes, and high blood pressure    

  What to expect from the workshop?
  • Workshop led by two trained leaders
  • 8-12 participants with a wide range of chronic health issues
  • The opportunity to give and receive support
  • Free copy of "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions"

Take Control of Your Health and Your Happiness Fairfax County's Chronic Disease Self-Management Program Workshop Series.  Sessions are held in person at the City of Falls Church Community Center for 6 weeks, every Thursday from October 19-November 30, 2023 (no class on Nov 23)

Don't let ongoing health problems stop you from living the life you enjoy. Fairfax County's Chronic Disease Self-Management Program is a FREE six-week group interactive workshop series for individuals who are interested in learning how to live better by effectively managing their ongoing health conditions.  Learn and share positive strategies for better overall health including: managing pain & fatigue, eating better, increasing physical activity and so much more! Connect with others managing similar concerns. Group meets in person. Take control of your health and improve your overall happiness! Space is limited, and preregistration is required.
