  This award-winning, evidence-based program is designed to reduce the
  fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults. It includes
  8 two-hour sessions for a small group led by two trained facilitators.

  During the class, participants learn to:

View falls as controllable

Set realistic goals for increasing activity

Make changes to reduce fall risk at home

Exercise to increase strength and balance

This award-winning, evidence-based workshop is designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults. Participants learn fall prevention strategies through discussion and activities, as well as gentle exercise to strengthen balance, flexibility, and coordination.
