Following is a description of projects the county has identified as
necessary to maintain a safe and efficient transportation network.
These projects are not funded in any existing or ongoing
transportation plans and will require new sources of revenue if they
are to be completed.
Please note that improvements to interstate facilities have been
specifically excluded, because they fall outside of the
county’s capacity to fund them alone. In addition, highway
maintenance costs have been specifically excluded, since road
maintenance is primarily a state responsibility. You will have the
opportunity to provide feedback on these assumptions in the
survey.
