  This free six-week workshop will help you:
  • Learn to effectively manage blood sugar
  • Aid with meal planning
  • Value physical activity
  • Establish good foot care
  • Live better

  Who should attend?
  • Adults with Diabetes or Pre-Diabetes
  • Friends, relatives, or caregivers of a person diagnosed
          with Diabetes or Pre-Diabetes

  What to expect at the workshop?
  • 8-16 participants with Diabetes or Pre-Diabetes
  • Workshops led by two trained leaders
  • The opportunity to give and receive support
  • A copy of "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions"

(Sessions are held for 6 weeks every Monday from June 15th to July 20th)

Facilitated by Inova ElderLink, the Diabetes Self-Management Program is a free 6-week group interactive workshop series for individuals interested in learning how to live better by effectively managing their Pre-Diabetes or Diabetes.
