A Fairfax County cover sheet is required for all recordings in Fairfax County Land Records. The Fairfax County Cover Sheet Application contains current recording fees and is now available for download below. Users of the program need to check this page regularly for new revisions to download and install or the fees calculated will be incorrect.

The following software must be on your system to run the application:  

• Operating Systems: Windows 2000 or Windows XP (Windows ME and Vista are not supported)
• Internet Explorer (minimum version 6)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader (minimum version 8)

Installation process: 

1. Download the cover sheet application (Windows 9x or Windows 2000/XP, file size approx. 7 MB). Note: This application was revised 3/08.
2. Follow the installation instructions (PDF).
