For each planning district there are
four profiles -- general demographic characteristics, social
characteristics, employment characteristics, and economic characteristics.
The general demographics profiles include population, households,
age, race and ethnicity, housing occupancy and tenure, and households
by type. The social characteristics profiles include educational
attainment, disability status, language spoken and linguistic
isolation, nativity and place of birth, residence in 1995, and
living arrangements of children. The employment characteristics
include employment status, class of worker, occupation, place
of work, mode of travel to work, and departure time to work.
The economic characteristics profiles include information on
household income, poverty, and housing costs.
