Herndon Harbor House is an exciting concept in affordable retirement living for seniors with moderate incomes. Designed for the active lifestyles of residents, each building features attractively appointed and spacious common areas for entertaining and socializing. Directions To Herndon Harbor Leasing Office

From Fairfax County Parkway: Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) north to Elden Street exit. Bear left to 606/Elden Street West. Take a left at the traffic light. Continue straight on Elden Street for eight lights. Turn right on Grace Street. Continue for two blocks. The property is on the left. The Management Office is located in the second story of the Herndon Senior Center at 873 Grace Street.

Priority System

  • First Priority: Persons who live and/or work in Fairfax County
  • Second Priority: Persons who have immediate family resident in Fairfax County
  • Third Priority: Other applicants who do not meet the above criteria
 

Resident Selection Criteria

Herndon Harbor House is operated under a special tax credit program which requires that residents meet the following criteria:

  • 62 years or older at time of application
  • Income between the minimum and maximum requirements*

*Persons with Section 8 vouchers or who receive subsidy from other organizations and fall below the minimum income requirements will be considered. Qualifying income may also include regular contributions from family or other sources.
