2011 Volunteers Needed to Help Teens Prepare for Robotics Tournament

Bailey’s Computer Clubhouse is looking for mentors to help our youth participants prepare for an upcoming Botball Tournament.  Botball Robotics is a high-tech approach to education. By integrating science, technology, math and engineering with robotics, students learn cutting-edge technology skills.

You can make an impact on a teenager’s future and help build the technology workforce. While students design, build, program and document the robot themselves, your expertise as a resource and troubleshooter is important to the team’s success.

Mentors provide coaching in areas such as:

  • Robot Design
  • Robot construction
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Game Strategy
  • Computer Programming (C Language)
