2011 Volunteers Needed to Help Teens Prepare for Robotics Tournament

Bailey’s Computer Clubhouse – 5920 Summers Lane, Falls Church, VA 22041

Bailey’s Computer Clubhouse is looking for mentors to help our youth participants prepare for an upcoming Botball Tournament.  Botball Robotics is a high-tech approach to education. By integrating science, technology, math and engineering with robotics, students learn cutting-edge technology skills.

You can make an impact on a teenager’s future and help build the technology workforce. While students design, build, program and document the robot themselves, your expertise as a resource and troubleshooter is important to the team’s success.

Mentors provide coaching in areas such as:

  • Robot Design
  • Robot construction
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Game Strategy
  • Computer Programming (C Language)

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please call 703-933-7512, TTY 711.
