"I am proud that the Fairfax County CareVan will be used as another tool to support Fairfax County’s COVID-19 response to vulnerable communities. The CareVan is a 39-foot mobile service delivery vehicle featuring multiple onboard workstations, public access to computers, and internet access. The CareVan will be used to deliver integrated services in the community to reduce health inequities and increase access to health, housing, and human services. The CareVan will be in communities two to three days prior to a High Risk Task Force testing event. Bilingual staff will be onsite for interpreting services as needed." ~ Supervisor Dalia Palchik, Providence District, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors
