Heart Gallery celebration in Fairfax promotes awareness
of local children who need adoptive homes
The Fairfax County Department of Family Services is hosting a reception celebrating the Freddie Mac Foundation’s "Heart Gallery" — a photo display of children throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area who need adoptive homes.
The public is invited to join the celebration, share some refreshments, and learn more about local children who need adoptive families.

Photos of three Fairfax County children are included in this year's Heart Gallery, which will be on display in the Fairfax County Government Center and in the Reston Regional Library the week of January 29 - February 2. The gallery's regional tour includes stops at the Washington Convention Center and the U.S. Department of Education. There are more than 60 Heart Galleries nationwide, each one representing local children of that state or region.
