Herndon-Monroe Park-and-Ride Garage Top Floor to Close Temporarily Beginning Dec. 15
The top floor of the Herndon-Monroe Park-and-Ride Garage will be closed temporarily beginning Dec. 15 for structural repair and routine maintenance. The parking garage is located at 12530 Sunrise Valley Drive, Herndon. Sections of the top floor are expected to begin reopening in mid- to late-March 2008.
The temporary closure of the entire top level is to ensure the safety of parking garage users while the repairs are made. An estimated 350 spaces of the garage's approximately 1,600 parking spaces will be temporarily unavailable. Overnight parking is prohibited in the garage and vehicles parked overnight will be towed at the owner's expense.
