All Fairfax MRC members must complete an
application and the Basic Training Requirements to be
considered an Active Level volunteer and participate in any
Basic Training Requirements include the following
MRC 101: Orientation
FEMA IS-700: National Incident Management
System (NIMS) An Introduction
FEMA IS-100: Introduction to Incident
New volunteers must
MRC Orientation and Personal Preparedness to fulfill the
personal preparedness training requirement.
Pending volunteers, who have completed their
Orientation, must complete the
Personal Preparedness Workshop prior to being accepted as an
Active member of Fairfax MRC.
Active volunteers, who have already
completed their Basic Training Requirements, must complete the
Personal Preparedness Workshop by September 1, 2016.
