Training
Training is reserved for volunteers of the Fairfax MRC. If you would like to become a volunteer, please visit the Fairfax MRC volunteer website to complete an application for the MRC volunteer program. You will receive an email formally accepting you into the program with further instructions on how to sign up for training. For more information call 703-246-8641, TTY 703-591-6435 or email us.
All training for volunteers is free. For a complete list of offerings and to register for a class, Fairfax MRC volunteers should log onto the Fairfax MRC volunteer website and click on the "training" tab.
Training opportunities for Fairfax MRC volunteers include:

- MRC 101: Orientation, offered monthly. Mandatory class to participate in any MRC related activity.
- FEMA IS-700: National Incident Management System (NIMS); An introduction offered online.
- FEMA ICS-100: Introduction to Incident Command System; offered online.
