Planning and Development Maps and Geographic Applications provide data for learning about and analyzing land use and development in Fairfax County.  These resources address several land use and development subject areas. They include:

Jade LogoJade is a Geographic Information System (GIS) web application that provides an easy way to view, search, and analyze geographic information.

Planning & Zoning Viewer

An interactive map which provides information about current zoning applications and associated zoning layers for areas with in Fairfax County. The application will allow you to find information related to planning & zoning activities, toggle layers on and off, change the underlying base map, measure distances and areas, draw and customize the map, and create a custom map output for printing.

Comprehensive Landuse Plan Map Tool

A geographic representation of the document that is used by the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, county staff and the public to guide land use, transportation and public facility decision making. The map includes layers such as planned land uses, special areas, and existing & future transportation features.
