CSB Volunteer Opportunities

The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board's (CSB) VIVA Program offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to use your ideas, talents and expertise in support of CSB programs and the individuals we serve.

Volunteers are needed at various sites throughout Fairfax County. Our volunteer opportunities, which change often, can include such things as:

mentoring
teaching new skills
helping with office tasks
grounds keeping
transporting people in county vehicles
helping staff, and
many others.

Volunteers will be interviewed and complete an application. Staff will then look for the best fit between the volunteer applicant and the site. A few volunteer positions require that volunteers undergo background checks. After being accepted, volunteers will complete paperwork, receive orientation and training, and begin to enjoy the rewards of volunteering.
