The 12th Annual Tim Harmon 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 8:30 a.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center. This event is sponsored by the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) to raise awareness about substance abuse and Hepatitis C, to raise funds to help people served by the CSB, and to honor the memory of Tim Harmon, a loved and respected employee in the CSB's Alcohol and Drug Services.
Race registration is $20 before June 11 and $25 after that and is available online. Additional information about the race is available at www.timharmon5K.org.
Once again this year, employees of the Police Department and the Fire and Rescue Department are challenging each other in the race.
Over 100 awards, lots of prizes and fun for all, including performances by the Sock Monkeys band!
