Sports in Fairfax County

The Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services does not operate sports leagues or camps. Please visit the following links for information on participating in sports.

Programs and Services

  • Culmore Soccer Camp - Free summer soccer camp for youth ages 6 to 16. Held at Bailey's Elementary School, Monday thru Friday (1 to 4 p.m.) (June 26 to August 18)
  • Youth Sports Scholarship Program - Scholarship assistance for youth to participate in organized athletics.
  • Fairfax County Athletic Council - A volunteer Advisory Council, which is appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
  • Champions of Character Awards –  Champions of Character Awards recognizes youth athletes, parents, and coaches for demonstrating positive character in youth sports. We are now accepting nominations for our 2017 Champions of Character Awards!
