Waitlist Notice
Please note: There is currently a waitlist for child care subsidies, however families are still encouraged to apply. Applicants will be notified as funds become available, and according to state and local priorities.
The Child Care Assistance and Referral (CCAR) program provides resources and referrals to families about various center-based and family child care programs located throughout the county. This program also offers financial assistance for child care to eligible Fairfax County, City of Fairfax or City of Falls Church families, and support to child care programs and providers.
