TextPrevention Strategy Team
Purpose
To provide the leadership, vision, and strategy needed to build a comprehensive prevention system that addresses the effectiveness of programs and practices, examines community impact, builds capacity, and integrates prevention as a fundamental strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define the vision and scope of the comprehensive prevention system
- Determine prevention system priorities and goals, identify indicators and outcomes
- Work with the coordinating team to build a measurement infrastructure and develop a communication plan
- Provide support and leadership by committing staff, information, and resources
- Monitor the system, review data
- Provide support and ongoing feedback to the Prevention Coordinating Team – Receive regular updates (at intervals TBD)
- Work closely with the coordinating team in the development and implementation of long-term plans including reinvestment strategies and strategic planning
