School Age Child Care Program

SACC provides fun, safe and educational care for children in kindergarten – sixth grade before school, after school and during school vacations in most Fairfax County elementary schools. Spotlight  on SACC Centers Laurel Hill SACC Receives Outstanding Community Partner and Gold Star Awards On Saturday, April 27, 2013 Laurel Hill SACC was awarded Outstanding Community Partner at the Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. This is the second year in a row Laurel Hill SACC has received this award for their partnership with the Lorton Senior Center. The "Laurel Hill SACC Lorton Senior Club" was established four years ago and brings elementary school age children together with seniors for a variety of events. This year, children from Laurel Hill SACC enjoyed helping the Lorton Senior Center participants with their annual Craft and Bake Sale and their Black Tie Party. The seniors visited the SACC center to teach the children how to bake and also attended SACC Center events. A particular favorite was the Italian Experience Dinner which provided the opportunity for the seniors to dine in the school's cafeteria. The SACC children decorated the cafeteria, greeted and seated their guests and served the seniors a wonderful Italian dinner. Laurel Hill SACC also received the Gold Star award which recognizes honorees for excellence in volunteer service. Congratulations to the Children and Staff at Laurel Hill SACC!!

To enroll your child, please call SACC Registration at 703-449-8989, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. If space is not currently available at your school, you may choose to have your child's name added to the waitlist. Be sure to ask about our winter, spring and summer camp programs! SACC Enrollment for the 2014-2015 School Year Is Coming Soon! SACC will be enrolling new children for the 2014-2015 school year as noted below: Enrollment dates are set alphabetically by the elementary school your child(ren) will attend: Beginning the week of July 8th: enrollment for schools beginning with letters A - D (Aldrin - Dranesville) Beginning the week of July 15th: enrollment for schools beginning with letters E - H (Eagle View - Hybla Valley) Beginning the week of July 22nd: enrollment for schools beginning with letters I - P (Island Creek - Providence) Beginning the week of July 29th: enrollment for schools beginning with letters R - W (Ravensworth - Woodley Hills) For example, if you would like to enroll your child for SACC services at McNair Elementary, you are able to call beginning the week of July 22. To enroll your child, please call SACC Registration at 703-449-8989, Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., according to the dates above. SACC Status During Weather Events Early School Closings - SACC will operate from the time school closes until 6:15 p.m. SACC administration requests parents make every effort to pick up children earlier if possible.* When Fairfax County Public Schools are closed all day, SACC centers are closed. When Fairfax County Public Schools open two hours late, SACC centers will open on time. When Fairfax County Public Schools do not close early, but cancel all after-school and evening activities, SACC centers will remain open until 6:15 p.m. SACC administration requests parents make every effort to pick up children earlier if possible.* During Fairfax County Public Schools teacher workdays, if school offices are closed due to inclement weather, SACC will be closed. If school offices are open, SACC will open on time. * SACC centers and administration are open until all children have been picked up. SACC Online SACC Bill: Pay your SACC bill online using e-Checks. Parent Online: Online access allows you to view your enrollments, cancel services, review billing activity, access yearly tax statements and receive SACC correspondence online.
