SACC Spring Program

March 25-29, 2013

Creation Station

Inside each child lies the potential to be an inventor, artist, writer, entrepreneur, scientist, performer, athlete, cupcake designer, dreamer and so much more. The possibilities are infinite. Opportunities to be creative are important to a child's development. This year's spring program, "Creation Station," will tap into each child's imagination and spark their natural creativity as they explore, investigate, discover, innovate and design their way through the week. Each day will provide experiences and challenges in the visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, science, sports and more. Families are invited to join us on Friday afternoon for a "Creation Celebration." You just might see the next fashion trend, learn a new dance move, or taste a cutting-edge culinary delight.

General Information

Please:
Accompany your child into the center each day and let a teacher know your child has arrived.

Have your child wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Sign your child out each evening on the parent sign-out board and let a teacher know you are leaving.

Current Families: If your child is enrolled in SACC before school, or after school during the school year, a copy of your child’s Licensing Information for SACC Records form and School Entrance Health form will be transferred to your spring program site. Please see your center staff to verify that the information on the Licensing Information form is accurate and up-to-date, and to verify that both copies of the form have an original signature.

New Families: If your child does not attend SACC during the school year program, but is enrolled in the spring program, you will need to provide SACC with a copy of your child’s School Entrance Health form, a completed Licensing Information for SACC Records form, and proof of your child’s identity (birth certificate, report card, passport, or Social Security card).

Cancellation Reminder: If your plans change, please remember that SACC requires a minimum of two weeks' notice to cancel service. Service must be cancelled in advance to avoid being responsible for payment. Cancellations may be made by calling 703-449-8989 or by e-mailing SACC Registration at saccregistration@fairfaxcounty.gov.
