Camp Discovery 2013

Join us for an exciting summer at SACC's Camp Discovery, where fun and laughter fill the air as minds are inspired and dreams encouraged. This summer, campers will enjoy time-honored camp experiences as they jump into an adventure filled summer of fun, friendships and wonder! Camp Discovery offers options that appeal to the artist, performer and athlete in every child. SACC's experienced and dynamic teachers are dedicated to guiding children through adventures designed to develop their talents, enhance their skills, and nurture their creativity. "Literacy Is Fun Too," offered at all locations, will give campers opportunities to explore the world of literacy through fun, interactive experiences. Outdoor adventures and play, culinary experiences, special events, swimming and field trips will make this a summer to remember! More details here.

Details

Note:	SACC is closed for approximately one week at the end of the school year and two weeks before the next school year begins in order to allow for facility maintenance, center closedown and setup, staff orientation and curriculum development.
Ages:	Kindergarten graduates - 6th grade graduates
Hours:	7:15 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Lunch/Snacks:	Your child will be provided with a refrigerated packed lunch and beverage each day. Snacks are provided in the morning and afternoon.
Fees:	Summer program fees are assessed on a sliding scale and are based on gross household income.
Locations:	SACC's Summer Program will be located in 26 Fairfax County Public Schools.
Enrollment:	To enroll your child, please call SACC Registration at 703-449-8989, TTY 711 between 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, except holidays.
Cancellations:	If your plans change, please remember that SACC requires a minimum of two weeks' notice to cancel service. Service must be cancelled in advance to avoid being responsible for payment. Cancellations may be made by calling 703-449-8989 or by emailing SACC Registration at saccregistration@fairfaxcounty.gov. Please be sure to include the following information: Parent's Name Child's Name Account Number Center Name Session(s) to be cancelled (summer session 1-7)
