SACC offers fun, safe and educational care for 5-12 year-olds before school, after school and during school vacations in most Fairfax County elementary schools.

Who Is Eligible? |
Children of Fairfax County residents. All adults living in the child’s home must:
- Work or be in a job training program at least 30 hours per week
- Attend school full-time
- Be disabled
- Or meet a combination of these requirements
Parents are required to furnish evidence of eligibility.
Private or parochial school children are eligible for the SACC program. Families follow the schedule, hours and holidays of the SACC center they attend.
SACC is committed to nondiscrimination and inclusion in all programs, services and activities. Children with disabilities and special needs are integrated into all centers.
How to Enroll |
Call SACC Registration at 703-449-8989 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Monday-Friday to register for the 2011-2012 school year, winter
and spring programs. Be prepared to give:
- Names,
- Addresses,
- Telephone numbers,
- Child information, and
- Gross household income.
All efforts are made to place children in a SACC center within their school boundary. If a child’s base school does not have a SACC center, or if the base school center is fully enrolled, families may enroll at the next closest SACC center and request a student transfer from Fairfax County Public Schools. SACC placement is not a guarantee of student transfer. If approved, parents are responsible for daily transportation to and from the non-base school.
