If You Move
Your family child care permit is issued for your specific address, not
for you as a person. Therefore, if you move to a new address, a new
permit must be issued. You will need to complete:
- A new Home Child Care Facility Application (submitted with the $14 fee);
- A fire and safety visit from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue department;
- A home health and safety visit from the child care specialist.
Your new home must be inspected within 15 days of your move.
