Ms. Donato is a graduate student at George Mason University working towards obtaining a Masters in Public Administration. Currently, she works for the Office of International Students at the Northern Virginia Community College. Ms. Donato has been dedicated to helping young people, especially Latino females, in achieving their college dreams.
Ms. Donato serves on various community boards. She is part of the Bienvenidos Building Better Futures Board of Directors. Bienvenidos provides tutoring and mentoring programs for Latino high school students at T. C. Williams High School. She was a part of the Fairfax County Project Discovery Advisory Board. Project Discovery encourages students from underserved families to achieve educational excellence and pursue a college education. She is a volunteer member of the SUN Scholarship Merit Awards. The SUN awards provide hope, caring and financial awards to Latino and Native American students.
Ms. Donato was born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico. In 2001 she was selected for the Córdova Fernós Congressional Internship Program. She interned at Hon. José Serrano's Office were she focused her work on women's issues.
Ms. Donato is a proud resident of Fairfax County. Her role as Student Representative is to develop programs and opportunities to help young females in Fairfax County achieve their college dreams.
