Ms. Keeshea Turner Roberts is proud to be Supervisor Linda Q. Smyth’s Providence District appointee to the Commission. Ms. Turner Roberts has been a resident of Fairfax County and of the Providence District since 2003.
Ms. Turner Roberts is a staff attorney with Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP) located in Washington, D.C. She represents clients in courts and administrative hearings. Ms. Turner Roberts provides advice and counsel to low-income citizens of the District in the areas of housing, family, consumer, wills/probate, employment, and public benefits law. Prior to working at NLSP, Ms. Turner Roberts worked as an associate with McKinney & Associates specializing in employment law and complex litigation matters. Additionally, Ms. Turner Roberts was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Janet Albert, Andrea L. Harnett, Karen A. Howze, and Richard Ringell, Judges for the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
Ms. Turner Roberts received her Juris Doctor and Certificate in Law and Public Policy from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2002 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Hollins University in 1996.
