in Fairfax County

If you care about the well-being of women and girls in Fairfax County, let your voice be heard!
Come to the 2006 Women’s Voices Forum on March 29 at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. Sponsored by the county’s Commission for Women and Office for Women, the event is free and open to the public. This is a chance to hear from panel experts and participate in discussions about key issues affecting women in our community: preventive health, financial fitness, elder care and work, personal safety, and domestic violence. The keynote speaker is Gloria Bohan, President and CEO of Omega World Travel.
Participants will also have the opportunity to meet locally elected officials. Information from the day’s discussions will be shared with county policymakers, including the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
