All Virginia Career Works-Fairfax Centers and the VIEW Job Center are closed until further notices. Services will continue to be offered through web-based and telephonic options, to include the following:

  • Tools, resources, and assistance for job search, interview preparation and career advancement
  • Access to a bank of online employment resources and education and training options
  • Workforce information and local labor market information
  • Career Coaching
  • Live job seeker webinar

 

SkillSource Centers are going through a re-branding and will now be called Virginia Career Works Centers.

Job seekers and employers in Northern Virginia have access to a comprehensive system of employment and training services and resources delivered and coordinated through one-stop employment resource centers, locally known as Virginia Career Works Centers.

Services are offered at no cost and include:

  • Resume writing and interview preparation workshops.
  • Career coaching.
  • Basic employment assessments.
  • Access to computers, phones, copiers, and the internet for employment search.
  • Job lead assistance.
  • Ongoing customer support
