Achieve your employment goals at our One-Stop locations that offer a full range of workforce development services.

Services include:

  • Career Guidance: Explore career assessments, networking and references strategies, workplace etiquette, and set SMART goals.
  • Resume Review: Review your general, industry-specific, and job-specific resumes.
  • Job Search Assistance: Research job boards, company websites, and other platforms to identify opportunities aligned with your career goals, desired hours, location, salary, education level, and more.
  • Practice Interviews: A practice interview session with a certified career specialist to prepare for interviewing with a specific company or interviewing in general. Receive constructive feedback on strengths, professional presentation, attire, and growth opportunities so you can land your next offer.
  • Cover Letter Review: Craft compelling general or job-specific cover letters that leave a lasting impression.
  • Job Application Assistance: Receive one-on-one support in answering questions related to your job applications.

Fairfax County Workforce Centers are open for in-person and virtual services. Please schedule an appointment to meet with a career specialist.*

We have locations in Alexandria, Annandale, Reston, and Fairfax. The Alexandria and Annadale Centers are part of Virginia Career Works (VCW) – Northern Region.

*One appointment can be made per person each day. New appointments are available two weeks in advance. Appointments are not available on days when centers are closed for county-observed holidays.
