Area Commission on Aging - Learn about the commission's
efforts to support the needs and tap the potential of older adults in
our community. The Commission on Aging is an all-volunteer
advisory group appointed by elected officials of Fairfax County and the
cities of Fairfax and Falls Church.
Adult Protective Services
Investigates reports of abuse, neglect or exploitation involving adults who are: 18 years or older and incapacitated or 60 years or older. These adults may live in their own homes, with relatives or in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, or group homes.
