Navigating the Journey of Dementia
Wednesday, April 17, 12-1:45 p.m.

Join Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, as she addresses the differences between typical aging changes and changes due to dementia. She will also explore structural and functional brain changes that often occur with dementia. Learners will be introduced to physical and verbal techniques for improving care interactions and reducing the risk of distress. The session will also provide suggestions for stress reduction for care partners. The overall goal of the session is to improve awareness of positive ways to connect and interact throughout the journey of dementia. Register
