Cara Yar Khan is an internationally recognized disability rights advocate, humanitarian, filmmaker, and public speaker. Drawing from her lived experience with a progressive neuromuscular disease, her work focuses on disability inclusion, accessibility, and challenging assumptions about what is possible. CarFit Appointments (Limited Spots Available)
CarFit is an educational program developed by AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) that ensures that participants have the proper fit inside of their vehicle. During their scheduled appointment time, participants will receive information and resources from trained experts on how to enhance their safety in the driver's seat. They will be shown how to enhance comfort, safety and fit within their vehicle. Register in advance.

To help make the event special and engaging, we kindly ask each participating vendor to bring at least one door prize to be given away during the event (e.g., gift baskets, service coupons, or other relevant items).
Vendors will receive a complimentary table space and two chairs to display materials and connect with attendees.
To request approval for a vendor table, please submit a vendor request form. A member of the planning committee will review your submission and follow up no later than early October with additional information regarding your participation.
