Holiday Care Package Drive

Help Spread Warmth and Joy to Older Adults This Holiday Season

snowman with cup of hot chocolate The holiday season is a time to share joy and kindness with others. While many of us gather with loved ones, there are older adults and adults with disabilities in our community who are facing daily challenges just to access basic necessities. For them, the smallest gesture can make the biggest difference.

This year, you can help bring comfort and care to those who need it most. The Adult and Aging Division of Fairfax County’s Department of Family Services is hosting a Holiday Care Package Drive to support individuals in our community. These care packages include essentials like a new hat, scarf, microwave-safe mug, and various other items which will be gifted to clients this holiday season.

Will you join us in spreading holiday cheer this year?

How You Can Help Older Adults This Holiday Season

Thank you to our community members who have pledged and purchased donations!

We've reached our goal for mugs, scarves and hats, etc. Check out our Amazon Wishlist for a list of the remaining needed items.

If you’re comfortable, please include your name and email address in the message box during the checkout process, so we can thank you.

Deadline: All donations must arrive at the Area Agency on Aging by Friday, November 21, 2025.

Thank you for spreading comfort and warmth this holiday season!
