In order to enhance customer experience through increased on-time performance, improved service reliability and reduced crowding, service changes are proposed to 11 Fairfax Connector routes for Winter 2017 implementation. Routes included in the proposal are 393, 394, 395, 401, 402, 461, 466, 599, 640, 642 and 644. This is a follow-up to an initial community meeting held on November 10, 2016.
Opportunities for Public Comment
A public meeting to review the proposed changes and to solicit feedback from the public will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, 6-8 p.m., at the cafeteria of Laurel Hill Elementary School, 8390 Laurel Crest Drive, Lorton. The meeting location is served by Fairfax Connector routes 305 and 373. Public comment on the proposed changes will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27. 2017.

Proposed Changes by Route
Routes 401, 402, 461, 599, 640, 642 and 644
• Minor schedule adjustments to reflect traffic conditions and improve on-time performance.
Route 466
• Adjust running time, remove Bookman Drive/Oakwood Chase Court time point.
Routes 393, 394, 395
• Add three AM and three PM rush-hour trips to Route 395 to address crowding issues.
• Minor schedule adjustments on all three routes to avoid stop conflicts at the Pentagon.
