The Office of Elections will remain open for business during its regular office hours, however, in person services for voter registration and absentee voting will only be available curbside at the Fairfax County Government Center. Voters should call 703-222-0776 upon arriving and materials will be brought out.

Voters can apply for or update their voter registration and submit a by-mail absentee application at https://Vote.Elections.Virginia.Gov.

Due to circumstances related to the corona virus outbreak, the Fairfax County Office of Elections will close at 4:30 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m. each Thursday until otherwise noted. With this change in place, our offices will be open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thank you for your understanding.
Voter Photo ID services will be available by appointment only. Please call 703/222-0776.
In the event that Fairfax County Government Offices close due to inclement weather, Voter Registration and Photo ID opportunities will be cancelled. Note: George Mason University students who reside on campus and want to register in the University Precinct must provide their dorm name, address, and room number in addition to their campus mailing address.
