As the leaves eventually change and the temperature eventually drops, it's a great time to discover fall markets in the county. Put on your coziest sweater, indulge in a pumpkin spiced latte, and explore the variety of offerings at these fall markets.

Our Park Authority presents 10 farmers markets across the county, bringing the freshest local products to residents. These producer-only markets ensure that everything you find is crafted by local farmers and producers within a 125-mile radius of Fairfax County. Experience the true essence of the season with fresh, locally sourced goods.

If you’re planning to attend a parks farmers market, get involved in the Fall Compost Competition throughout September by dropping off more food scraps than in August. Each market will compete through Oct. 1. As a token of appreciation, those dropping off food scraps in the last week of September might receive a FREE countertop compost bin (subject to availability).

Celebrate the Harvest Season! The fall harvest comes alive at markets with a range of exciting and free activities, including pumpkin painting, hot cider, live music, a trivia wheel and chances to win exciting prizes. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit while enjoying the best that autumn has to offer.

Tysons Community Alliance kicks off its inaugural Fall Mixed Market on Sept. 20 at The Boro's Sandlot. Operating from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Wednesday, through Oct. 25, this market is a collaboration between Tysons Community Alliance, Diverse Markets Management, and The Boro. Discover the creativity of local makers, artisans, and food vendors, and show your support for small businesses in the area. View a list of vendors.      

Check out The PARC Fall Market every Thursday until Oct. 19, from noon to 7 p.m. Hosted by Celebrate Fairfax and Potomac Farm Market, The PARC's front patio at 8508 Leesburg will burst to life with an array of locally sourced produce and agricultural delights.
