The inaugural ConnerStrong Foundation You're Not Alone 5k Fun Run will take place Saturday, March 25, starting at 7:30 a.m. at Kingstowne Shopping Center in Alexandria. The race is sponsored by Franconia District Supervisor Rodney Lusk. 

The goal of the event is to raise awareness of the resources available in our community to support the lack of food and clothing that impacts many families and individuals in Fairfax County. Several community-based resources and organizations who provide various wellness, mental health and suicide prevention goods and services will be on hand. 

All non-perishable food and money raised from the event will help two local community food banks - Koinonia and United Community.
