Beginning on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, construction crews will be installing a precast stair tower at the southwest corner of the Herndon-Monroe bus loop. To permit this activity, the southwest portion of the loop will be closed to buses and traffic through January 2019, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please see the below map (or the full flyer here) for Fairfax Connector and Metrobus pick-up locations including a temporary bus stop on Sunrise Valley Drive.
**All service and bus stop locations before 10AM and after 3 PM will not be affected.**
Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to signage and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the roadways at all times.
