COVID-19 Vaccine and Registration Data

The COVID-19 Vaccine and Registration Data Dashboard provides data for the Fairfax Health District.

To view a larger version of the data, please visit the dashboard.

Please note:

The number of registered people by day and the number of people not yet offered appointments may change periodically due to data cleanup and cancelled registrations.

Prior to April 5, the dashboard displayed only first doses received by the Virginia Department of Health. As of April 5, this number now includes both first and second doses.

How to Read the Dashboard

Currently Making Appointments for Date

People who submitted a vaccine registration on the date displayed are now eligible to receive vaccination appointments. Individuals will be sent emails to make an appointment. However, due to registration volume, it might take days or weeks for us to offer appointments to everyone in the queue on this date.

This section is updated as needed.

There are two factors that influence an individual’s place in the queue:

  1. The date and time you registered, AND
  2. Your eligibility group. Fairfax Health Department is required to follow state guidelines for vaccine distribution which indicate we must allocate half of our weekly vaccine allotment for people ages 65+ and half for those in frontline essential worker groups and people 16-64 with underlying health conditions that increase their risk for severe illness from COVID-19.

Therefore, the queue is not a straight line in order of registration, as we need to release vaccine appointments to people in a way that ensures compliance with state allocation guidelines.

People Registered By Day

This represents the number of people who submitted registrations on these days. Given the amount of volume, it can take us time to release appointments for everyone registered on a given day.

The number of registered people by day and the number of people not yet offered appointments may change periodically due to data cleanup and cancelled registrations.
