Communications Policy and Regulation Division

The Communications Policy and Regulation Division (CPRD) oversees cable communications in the County. The Division investigates cable-related consumer complaints; provides information in response to residents’ inquiries; inspects cable communications system construction and plant; manages and enforces the County's non-exclusive cable franchise agreements with Comcast Communications Inc., Cox Communications Inc., and Verizon Virginia Inc., and advises the Board of Supervisors on communications policy, legislation, and regulation.
