Classes meet Thursday evenings for nine consecutive weeks, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning September 21, 2017 and ending November 09, 2017. Each session, participants learn about a different aspect of the fire department, ranging from fire suppression, emergency medical services, hiring and training firefighters to special rescue operations. Participants will also spend time at fire stations, training academy, Public Safety Headquarters, and at the 911 dispatch center. For more information please contact Battalion Chief Willie Bailey, Public Information & Life Safety, 703-246-4630 or via email at fire. CFRA@fairfaxcounty.gov .
