The Woodlands Stewardship Education Center is a new brand of amenity here in the Fairfax County Park System. This is a discovery center for adults and children alike. Everything on the site is an exhibit demonstrating sustainable principles of environmentally responsible practices that can be replicated both in new development and households across the county – from solar power and rainwater capturing to reclaimed building materials and native landscaping practices.
