The meetings of the HOMS Committee and Production, Preservation & Partnerships Committee of the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) are presently scheduled to be held electronically due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. If the declared state of emergency has ended, then the meeting will be held in person at 3700 Pender Drive, HCD Center, Fairfax, Virginia  22030.

HOMS Committee Meeting Agenda:

  • Administrative Item: Approval of Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) Policy for First-Time Homebuyers–Direct Sales (FTHB-DS) and Founders Ridge Properties to Allow Renting a Part of Owner-Occupied Units

Production, Preservation & Partnerships Committee Meeting Agenda:

  • Action Item: Authorization of Issuance of Tax-Exempt Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds in an Aggregate Amount Not to Exceed $20,000,000 for One University Senior Apartments; Authorization and Approval of the Execution and Delivery of Various Documents in Connection with the Issuance and Sale of the Bonds; Provision for the Sale of the Bonds and Certain Other Matters in Connection Therewith (Braddock District)

The purpose of these meetings is for the FCRHA HOMS Committee and FCRHA Production, Preservation & Partnerships Committee to review Items for possible forwarding to the full FCRHA for action and to continue with its duties and responsibilities. The meetings comport with continuity in government, are statutorily
required, or are necessary to continue the operations of the FCHRA because they ensure that the FCRHA continues certain essential functions and services including review of project financing and key policy documents, ensuring the ongoing viability of affordable housing development projects, and taking actions in
which time is of the essence or are administratively necessary. Failure to take these actions could cause irreparable harm to the programs and services of the FCRHA.
